Health Planning and Management Training Program

The aim of this project was to strengthen national and regional planning and management capacities in Albania’s health sector through the implementation of a continuing education program in public health planning and management and its integration into Albania’s formal education system. The project: b1) provided a 6-month intensive training program in health planning and management to 75 health workers employed in central agencies and institutions, at peripheral levels of the public health sector, and to other categories of healthcare professionals working in private programs and services; 2) improved the quality of teaching by strengthening the pedagogical skills of teachers, enhanced the content of teaching materials and will support the production of additional teaching materials in Albania;
