Implementation of a Comprehensive and Integrated Emergency Department Performance Evaluation System in the State of Goiás, Brazil

The purpose of this project was to design and implement a comprehensive and integrated performance evaluation system for emergency services in the state of Goiás, Brazil.  This system should provide managers, professionals, planners and the general public with a valid and useful picture of emergency department performance in this state. Its aim was to help guide these facilities in a process of continuous performance improvement, enabling them to better fulfill their missions.
