Technical assistance for the operation of the Oyem hospital in Gabon, phase 2

This intervention was complementary to the “Support for the CHRO” component of the support project for the Northern Health Region in Gabon. The aim was to consolidate achievements and provide hospital management expertise to complement the establishment’s management team, while working to develop individual and organizational skills at operational level. The main areas of intervention were: management of financial resources; management of equipment and infrastructure; hospitality; development and implementation of health and management information systems; organization of clinical activities (medical and para-medical) and support services from an integrated perspective at regional level; support for middle managers in achieving continuous quality improvement; support for human resources management and development through appropriate systems; management of hygiene, cleanliness and bio-medical waste.
