The PAGHG aims to strengthen the governance and administrative and clinical management of La Providence des Gonaïves Hospital (HPG) by building on a management framework that is consistent with the Hospital Establishment Plan and Hospital Internal Rules. Improving management and clinical practices within the hospital will contribute to its empowerment and ability to provide accessible, quality health services. PAGHG will be conducted in close collaboration with the management and staff of the HPG as well as with the MSPP at central and departmental levels, through a participatory approach. All project activities will be carried out by integrating governance, gender equality and the environment. The direct beneficiaries of the project are primarily the members of the HPG Executive Committee and all clinical, administrative and active support staff at the hospital. In addition, at the central level, members of various MSPP directorates (DOSS Health Services Organization Directorate, HRD Human Resources Directorate, and UEP Evaluation and Planning Unit) will be involved when required. At the departmental level, members of the Health Directorate of Artibonite will also be mobilized. The indirect beneficiaries are the women and children population of the HPG service basin as ultimate beneficiaries of the results of the initiative.
