Description

This project aims to develop a toll-free public telephone line for vaccination. The ultimate goal is to improve the survival and development of children living in rural areas by increasing immunization coverage. The specific objectives of this study are:

1) Conduct formative research to develop an appropriate structure for the free vaccination hotline

2) Implement and study the use of call metadata to improve the delivery of vaccine care and services

3) Implement and study the full surveillance loop for vaccine care and services delivery

4) Develop an innovative funding model for the hotline

5)To identify possible ways of implementing the intervention within the Indian health system and the potential costs and effectiveness of scaling up the program.
