Twinning arrangement for medical science management and research prioritization and technical support to the Development of Research in Kazakhstan

The objectives of this project during the 1st phase were to: 1) Design a contemporary competitive system for priority setting, funding, management, evaluation and communication on health research, 2) Introduce a system of patient protection in health research, 3) Strengthen the capacities of managers and researchers, During Phase II 1) Strengthen health research competencies in accordance with international best practices, 2) Development of an accreditation model for ethics committees, 3) Support the implementation of the accreditation process (legal, normative, protocols, etc.)
