Supporting the improvement of reproductive health at community level in the Kayes region of Mali

The objective of the project was to help ensure better integration and coherence of actions carried out at different levels of the health pyramid in the areas of disease control, reproductive health and nutrition. In accordance with the Mali Decennial Health and Social Development Plan (PDDSS, 1998-2007), the objectives of this support were to increase the use of quality health and social services in community health centers and to increase their use in referral health centers in the Kayes region of Mali.
