The objective of the project was to propose to the government a plan for implementing the government’s initiative of 3,300 doctors per year by 2020. To this end, the plan has put in place (i) measures to optimize the medical training system to improve its effectiveness; and (ii) a medical training development plan to achieve the objectives of the initiative iii) a financing and resources mobilization plan to make the initiative a reality. Some examples of services provided include: – International benchmarking literature review on best practices in medical education – Diagnosis of the state of medical education in existing faculties – Assessment of labor market and recruitment capacity of new cohorts of doctors – Analysis of health developments related to the needs of different types of doctors (generalists, specialists)
