This program aims to support the development of new or emerging optometry programs in La Francophonie, namely the DRC, Togo, Mali, Lebanon and Vietnam, using a multidisciplinary team approach including ophthalmology in support of the advancement of primary eye care services via optometry. The project is part of a long-term initiative that aims to support and facilitate the establishment and development of optometry in numerous francophone countries and reinforce the network between training institutions..
